Terrain Assessments are a technique that ACMG guides use to assess terrain for hazards, assess terrain forsteepness and roughness, for assessing weather,and consulting on how to guide crews in this terrain.
Training
GMS staff utilize their mountain guide back ground and GMS built mountain safety, rope access and rescue courses to provide clients with a complete instructional package.
Helicopter Efficiency and Safety Advising
Assessing rescue and evacuation needs assessing and equipment selection needs. This could include guiding crews and mapping while working in the field. Mountain Rescue services are also provided.
Difficult Access Consultation
GMS staff can provide suggestions and recomendation on how to safely and efficiently perform tasks in difficult and dangerous terrain.
